It isn't often that a loser gets revenge on the team that beat them the very next week.

I still say they should give the ACC's auto bid to Boise State.

Agree with the premise (particularly considering the rest of the ACC's performance today), but JMU won at Lane Stadium and didn't need a last minute score, so I'd be inclined to give it to them.

JMU = VT + 5. BSU = VT + 3. JMU > BSU.
(I cheated and used my calculator, I didn't even need my eyes).

And you don't think losing a HUGE game in an opener had nothing to do with them letting down against JMU? It happens. What happened today doesn't take away the fact that Boise ST. is a pretty damn good program. I didn't think they should have been the NC discussion after one game but now that talk is pretty much moot. Just another reason why there should be a playoff. Boise St plays who are on their schedule and beats them. If they were in a power conference they would probably have more losses but they would also have more opportunities to win big games as well.

Too bad football isn't played on a calculator. By your Math North Dakota State>Georgia Tech
(I cheated and used my calculator too, I didn't even need common sense) :flush:

Weird day where we have Liberty over Ball State, James Madison over Virginia Tech, Gardner-Webb over Akron, and South Dakota over Minnesota. I don't remember a day of so many FBS teams getting beaten by FCS teams. (Granted, it's not like Ball State and Akron are world beaters, but still.)

Boise deserves bad luck for that horrible field they have. I just can't root for a team that plays on that stupid ass turf.

The joke must have gone over your heads but I do think this game really hurts BSU's chances at playing for a NC.

Well, that makes sense. You want BSU to schedule tough, so they schedule a road game thousands of miles away years in advance, they win, and then you want to discredit their attempt because of something they had absolutely zero control over. Quite sensible.
