I have no dog in the hunt (Clemson fan) but it is pretty obvious that the refs have been coached to give the benefit of the doubt and spot to the Ducks.

Oregon is an unarguable football plant of a program--the only one not to allow the team to eat turkey on Thanksgiving, due to "scientific research" by the coach--which is starting to allow for some frightening Ivan Drago-like experimentation with players that will be nothing but trouble for college football in the long run.

All that said, some of the dubious calls for the Ducks tonight were building up to rival the infamous Oklahoma review screw job of three years ago.

Not quite there, mind you, but it seems like tonight's crew couldn't keep up with the slippery **** the Ducks were pulling. Namely, holding by the WRs deep downfield, for one.

It wouldn't have made the difference between the W and the L for Arizona, but it's why football can be such a farce sometimes and not allow for more competitive games.
