I know there is a show on ESPN tomorrow, but does anyone know if the bowl that U of A is in and the opponent will be announced or leaked before that?

Depends on how much money a team can make. If OU is in the Alamo than you can guarantee an Arizona team. If Nebraska is taken than we will drop.

If Nebraska goes Alamo, Alamo gets to pick between the team Nebraska curbstomped last year, and the team Nebraska curbstomped this year.

If Nebraska pulls out a win tonight, the Stoops bowl will happen. Its a no brainer.

Me too but we will hearing about how heart wrenching it is from the announcement time till end of the year. Not from the fans but Stoops. Seriously I never understood it. It's college football. It is inevitable. Man up Stoops.

Especially when there are 2 possible bowls between the big 12 and pac 10 every year.

Exactly. Says a lot about Stoops. I don't think Bob would be complaining about playing his brother.

Oklahoma pulling ahead of Nebraska in the 4th now.

CBS is projecting:

- Washington vs. (#14 in the BCS) Oklahoma State in the Alamo Bowl
- Arizona vs. (#12 in the BCS) Missouri in the Holiday Bowl

Dawg fans just want to go to a bowl...any bowl, having not been to one since 2002 and especially with a 6-6 record plus having to squeak out a win againt the last placed 2 win Cougs.

I hope so. The Alamo Bowl is on the Wednesday.

The Holiday Bowl is on the Thursday at 7pm this year, but Arizona-Oregon basketball is also at 7pm from Eugene.

Well, Nebraska is on their way to losing to Oklahoma. I don't think anyone in America wants an Arizona/Nebraska re-match.

Irish that article seems more like a projection than confirmation. Then again it make sense because Holiday probably don't want a repeat, especially one that failed to score last year and on a 4 game skid. Plus it is closer for Cats fans to travel to than UW fans.

Musburger just said Nebraska in the Insight in Tempe. At least that's what he implied - he said Nebraska would face a Big 10 team next.

CBS has Nebraska vs. Iowa projected as well in Tempe.

- Interesting. I saw that there was no Alamo Bowl rep. at the UW/WSU game, only a Holiday Bowl rep.

I'd guess then that it's Arizona vs. Oklahoma State in the Alamo Bowl.

Tough situation for the bowls. A rematch of a regular season game or last years bowl game, ugh. May have to play Okie St back to back

Tells you that playing 9 conference games is not smart, only 4 qualifyers out of the PAC

Sun Bowl would put us up against Miami (http://www.elpasotimes.com/ci_16743389?IADID=Search-www.elpasotimes.com-www.elpasotimes.com).

To be honest, that is the matchup I would personally want. :(

Oklahoma St. and the Alamo Bowl would be a perfect fit for AZ. Bring in our Texas and Okie recruits for the game. Can we do that for Bowl season?

The Alamo Bowl will likely take streaking Washington over slumping Arizona as its Pac-10 pick, and Nebraska already played the Huskies. So 10-2 Oklahoma State likely goes to San Antonio, allowing the Insight Bowl to stage a Nebraska-Iowa "Big Ten preview" with Missouri going to the Holiday Bowl. It's still possible that the Insight will take Missouri over the Huskers, though.
