The best part of that schedule is that we have Stanford, Oregon, and Utah at home. The OK State, Stanford, Oregon, USC, and Oregon State grouping in the middle of the season is downright brutal.

It is more likely than not that we will win at least one of @OK State, Stanford, Oregon, @USC, and @Oregon State (Stanford most likely, followed by @Oregon State), but there's also a very real chance that we lose all five, especially considering that we're breaking in a brand new offensive line and all returners will be coming off the horrible end to this season.

Perhaps it's worthwhile to throw out a "Hey, it's the 2011-12 basketball season!" early.

I'm going to hold off on a final prediction of how tough UA's schedule will be to start the 2011 season, as any talk about next year's schedule being brutal is premature until we know who is coming back, and what changes UA makes between now & then.

As of now, I could make a case that there is a serious possibility that UA begins the season 4-2 or even better. OK State loses their top RB & WR, Stanford will more than likely lose their HC and QB, USC will still be coached by Lane Kiffin, we don't know if James Rodgers will be able to return to ntOSU, and the Oregon game - a team UA led at halftime this year - is at home. Plus, as bad as the 1st half of the schedule looks, that's how easy the 2nd half looks, but that's not in stone either. No one knows.

As much as last night sucked, it's still early IMO to be seeing black clouds on the horizon for next season's schedule.

6 will be stretching it.. The kid from Tucson is not the answer.. We need someone who hits the line fast. A Ben Malone type runner. Hes not fast enough to be a good runner in college..aka Kevin( mr mountain view)

The question I have what happened to our defensive line after IOWA . Did they read too many articles on ESPN on how good they were?


There was a couple of games, where they didn't have a sack or a hurry up,WE fell apart when Zendajaz cost us 3 games in the kicking game. If I was the coach, he would be gone in a heart beat.

We will have a better offensive line next year then this. They will have more depth.

If az starts 4-2, they should give Stoops a five year extension,,no way in you know where will they be 4-2

Stoops has to change his coaching style on the field.. He needs to go to the press box..His antics cost us a couple of games. You can't upstage your coaches and players in the middle of the game. cheer I pray I am so wrong it hurts. I love the cats,,but they are a totally lost it the last 5 games.

you may be right, but i don't see it. spotty run game, erratic qb, and erratic defense that struck fear in no one, even with their lunatic's antics. the only game of the last five in which we actually looked like the better team personnel wise (except for kicker). if asu overtakes us in football in stoops eighth year...
