If we had a forum app developed for the GOAZCATS.com free message boards how many people would buy it for $1.99?

Many of them are droid compatible, specifically the one I mentioned to management. http://tapatalk.com/ Not sure the development that goes into building their own platform and the added work to make it compatible with both, I know Storey has a background in web development and probably has a better grasp of those things.

If I had a smartphone, I would consider an app for whatever system I was running. But all I have is a dumbphone.

TapTalk is a Vb add-on that has both a free(read-only) and a full app for $1/2. Admin doesn't want to install the add-on, they would rather build their own and get the revenue from that even though they don't seem to be doing that either.
