I've never seen a player steal bases at will like Chone is doing right now. Too bad I let Barringer talk me out of drafting him for $1. If GA's back problems linger, and/or Figgy can start taking starts from the struggling Eckstein, he is capable of stealing 75 bases.

I dropped the ball this week. I could've had him for a $2 FAAB bid, but only bid 1. I didn't think he was good enough defensively to be a full time SS. Is that not the case? Regardless he should be a lock for 40+ swipes, for a guy that nobody bid more than a couple bucks on.

His D at SS is no worse than Eck and his Noodle Arm. He's more suited for CF, naturally, but he NEEDS to be hitting leadoff. Scoscia will find a spot for him.

For a guy my size, Figgins has a goddamn hose. Management wasn't thrilled with him because he didn't go play Winter Ball, but he has a bright future with someone if he keeps impacting ballgames the way he has lately.
