What a bunch of losers, Chris Webber is the most worthless basketball player ever. He is cursed by the devil and with the exceptation of Mike Bibby, that team is such a bunch of Chokers. No one can disagree either after last night.
How are you 6'10 and in the NBA and miss a 2 foot layup????
Peja, where the hell do you go???
Mike Bibby needs to be traded ASAP so he can play with some people who step up.
By the way, Lakers in 6 games to advance to the Championship where they will sweep
I truly feel sorry for Mike Bibby for having to put up with such chokers

Yeah I'm pretty bummed, the game was still close though, all you can really ask for is a chance to move on. However I'd be pretty damn shocked if the Lakers got past Minnesota.

Well shall see. The Lakers have a ton of advantages in the series. They are rested and experience. The Wolves, besides Spree and Sam, haven't been this deep. They will need everyone to play huge. Who is going to guard Shaq?

Come on The Candi man can take Shaq
Shocked if the Lakers make it past the Wolves, WOW, thats a bold statement to make and one that will quickly be proven wrong. I really dont think the T-Wolves have a shot in hell to beat the Lakers but we shall see

At the very worst, Lakers in 6.
"I truly feel sorry for Mike Bibby for having to put up with such chokers"
Hate to break it to you, but Bibby choked as well. 4/13 in game 7 will not get it done. Usually Bibby is pretty clutch but he had a terrible game last night.

Yeah cause we all know 15 8 and 8 is just such a horrible stat line.

Well yeah it is if you are the "second best point guard in the league" like some of you have said.

Lakers just won 4 straight against a team that was favored to win it all this year and coming off a huge winning streak (granted...the last two were against the Lakers). Meanwhile, Minnesota struggled to beat the slumping Kings.

Maybe Ebi can get some minutes.... ahh never mind.

You cal those stats big time numbers? Because thats what the Kings needed from him. Bibby was terrible on offense the whole first half. Game 7 is when you play balls to the wall and show what youre made of.
Bibby is usually so clutch but he let his team down. He played decent, much better than Peja, but he is supposed to be the leader of that team. Bibby has the ability to take over and change that series. You see him get into the lane and drive/dish in the games that the kings won? How many times was he successful in doing that last night?
Playing well isnt all about getting points, rebounds, assists. There is more than just stats.
Bottom Line: Bibby should have played better, and if he had the Kings might have been able to advance. The same could be said of Webber, Peja, and brad Miller. I took exception to the fact that NewportCat made a point of saying Bibby didnt choke while all his teamates did. Not true.

was that he was doubled teamed most of the 4th quarter. Flip Saunders was smart and knew that the rest of the Queens had zero gnad whatsoever, so he forced Mike to give it up. He was paid the ultimate compliment, but unfortunately had C-Web on his team. Is that guy the biggest choker in the history of organized sports or what?
Enjoy the summer Queen's fans :)

So funny to see the Lackey fans breathing a collective sigh of relief following Sacramento's exit.
Im not ready to conceded the Lakers the championship just yet but its looking more and more like a possibility.
Oh well, maybe Kolbe can trade the ring for a pack of smokes when he moves on to the Colorado Bendovers next year.

Bibby did have a decent stat line, but guess what, he's goin home. He had a VERY VERY quiet near triple dub, and simply didnt "carry" his team like they need from him in big games.

It's not a sigh of relief, its pointing at laughing at the Chokers again. Remember 2002? Yeah, I thought so. The kings act like they have won something, that is why they put up pacific division banners lol.
The lakers would have beaten the Kings in 4 or 5. Peja is terrible, Webber is half the player he used to be, Divac is like Sabonis. The only healthy, good players on Sactown were Bibby and Brad Miller. Doug Christie? Please.

KV,
Do you honestly think that the Lakers(and fans) were dreading the prospects of facing off with the Queens?
They only have a couple of players with heart and in your face attitude, and one of them, Jackson is out. The other one, Bibby needed help, and didn't get it from Webber, Peja, etc.
The Queens are the prototypical pretty team, built to look good in the regular season, but without any defense, is bound to fail in the play-offs. They really do not have a bonafide go-to guy in crunch time. Maybe Peja down the road, so far he's dissappeared in big games/series. Heck, they even lost to the Mavs last year, a team very similar to the Queens.
The 'Wolves is about a year or 2 away, and 1 nasty rebounder/defender/role player to be able to finally win one. They're getting there, but not this year.

Exactly! The Lakers are going to have a much easier time with the T-Wolves, because Minnesota's never been here before. Intimidated? Probably. That's something the Kings wouldn't have been.

I didnt see you guys focusing this much trash talk on Dallas or Memphis got knocked out. You know why? Because they werent seen as a rival or a threat to the Lackeys.
We all know the Lackey fans were praying for a Minnesota win over Sacramento so your road would be a little easier. You are only fooling yourselves if you think the rest of us dont realize that.
Disclaimer: I am not a Sacramento fan.

As much as I dislike the current Lakers (except for Luke), this is going to be the year. Since Jerry Buss has the hots for Kobe, both Phil and Shaq won't be back. Kobe needs to be "the man", and Phil likes his players to occassionaly pass the ball.

Merkin - Totally Agree, look for Byron to come in and coach the Lakers.
Killervibe - I was routing for the Kings, but I laugh at their loss. They are like the little brother that you kick around and make fun of. The Kings would have been much easier. Bobby Jackson is out, Vlade is old, CWEBB is p-whipped, and Doug Christie is horrible. Nice ballclub. They were lucky they played the horrible Mavs and an questionable T-Wolves team.

Funny, I was rather excited to see the lakers win, even though I felt the Spurs were going to wrap that one up. I didnt want the Wolves to face the Spurs, but LA? bring it on... :D
