That is pathetic. I'd have to say this is worse than a #1 seed losing in the 1st round. Nice job ladies.

That was pretty bad. I actually follow softball a little bit because I have 2 friends from High School on the ucla team. They make the thing double elim just so stuff like that doesn't happen.

Well at least Pima took care of business.
Its just golf time now.
Any there any Tucson GoAzcat golfers here ?
Shot a 86 at Silverbell this morning. Four doubles. Hate to admit it.

I used to play a lot when I was in High School when friends worked at golf courses and we could play for free. I don't play as much as I would like due to lack of time and cash. But 86 is about what I'd shoot at the 'Bell.

The softball team should do very well next year. They lose Vandergeest and Allen but return everyone else, including All-American Courtney Fossatti who sat out this year to rehab an injury. They also bring in one of the top high school pitchers to help Alicia Hollowell. Finally, Mike Candrea will be back and he will get the most out the girls, something Larry Ray could not do. I wonder when Mike retires if maybe Stacy Iveson would return to take over? We know that Ray is not the person to replace Candrea.
