Daht.... Are you sure you still want to play the Lakers instead of the Spurs?

Kareem Rush just hit another wide open 3.

Daht.... Are you sure you still want to play the Lakers instead of the Spurs? Absolutely.

Anyone else see the class of the Laker Fans when they congratulated the Wolves for having the best regular season? Lakers fans have less class then the Kings fans do, and thats saying a lot.

Was a great series, cept for game 4 which was (Bill Walton moment) "HORRIBLE!"

Morgan: Congrats on finally picking one series right. :)

Daht, actually I had the finals right.

Pistons Lakers.

I also had the Lakers right in every other series. Furthermore, I had the exact games right. Once the T-Wolves get a coach, they might win a championship.

KG is a great player. I'd hate for him to go Sacramento and never get close again.

It was in regards to you picking Denver over MN, then Kings over MN. Pick them to lose every time, eventually you willl win once in while. Begining of the year I had the belief that it was going to MN-LA in the finals, and sure enough it ended up that way. Just happened to work out that way due to the seedings (thanks to Kings blowing it at the end of the season). They were the two teams who in my mind improved the most in the off-season.

And Im removing about 3 paragraphs here, due to my thinking you said:

I'd hate for him to go TO Sacramento and never get close again.

instead of what you really said:

I'd hate for him to go Sacramento and never get close again.

L M A O

BTW: The HC is one of the strongest points to the Wolves. They lose him, and we might as well trade away KG.

Well Sacramento was closer then the Wolves. They went OT in game 7 against the Lakers. The Wolves are not a young team either. Spree played very well in the series but he isn't getting any younger, Sam Cassel didn't give them anything because of injuries. You can talk smack to me when your team wins 8 championships in your lifetime.

I'm wouldn't be surprised if this is as close as KG ever gets. Where was he in the fourth quarter of game 6? Watching Kareem Rush end his season.

Flip Saunders is a nice coach and seemingly a good guy, but he won't get the Wolves where they want to go.

Way to go out on a limb and pick the 1 and 2 seed to make the WCF. The Wolves are probably the fourth best team in the West, certainly the third. If Bobby Jackson is healthy, Sactown is better.

I'll say it again..... I'd hate for KG to go Sacramento and never get close again.

You can talk smack to me when your team wins 8 championships in your lifetime. And you can talk smack about Flip once Phil builds a championship team from the ground up, rather then walking into a great team to begin with... twice :D

What has Flip built? He couldn't get out of the first round until they had some parts around KG. He hasn't out coached anyone. Not even the pathetic Rick Adelman. I actually like KG, he brings it every night and you have to respect that, but they need to make a few changes if they want to beat San Antonio next year. I'm not sure how the Lakers will be with all the off season situations.

Phil has won in the CBA with equal talent. He isn't dumb enough to go to Golden State and get his head kicked in. He is a great coach in that he untilizes everyone to their max.

Do you know why Kareem Rush was ready to play? Phil. Phil played him in the fourth quarter during the regular season and it probably cost them a few meaningless regular season games, but it won them the west. Same with Medvedenko.

The consensus top three teams before the season were the Spurs, Lakers and T-Wolves because off their off-season pick ups.

Sacramento had question marks due to injuries.

Anyway, have fun watching the parade to the Staples center.

Anyway, have fun watching the parade to the Staples center. Haha yeah right. Basketball is by far the most boring of all the major sports. Ive moved on to football already, Im only here because you addressed this post to "DAHT" :p

If the Lakers end up winning the championship congrats to "your" team, although you had absolutely nothing to do with their success.

Actually the thread title is Lakers win. I just put a little message to you inside.

I actually played a small part in the Lakers championship. By watching the games and buying a hat or whatever I contribute to the team and help them pay millions upon millions to Shaq, Kobe, et. al.
