7 of the runs he has driven in so far were credited to Pedro Martinez! I'm sure it's safe to say NO ONE has ever driven in 7 runs off of Pedro.

Absolute freakshow. I LOVE Vlad the Destroyer! He, Bonds, ARod and Pujols are by far the best players in the game today.

No way I forgot Barry!! Damn it! He's my favorite player, too! I smell an edit coming up!
Thanks for the heads-up to my lunacy.

Albert Pujols is probably not the best player on his team. Scott Rolen is.
Rolen is hitting .350 and Pujols .325
Rolen has batted in 47, Pujols 30
Also, Scott Rolen is an outstanding fielding 3rd baseman and will be up for a gold glove every year. Pujols is closer to average when it comes to fielding.

Dude, no offense, but you're crazy. Rolen is indeed having an awesome year, but look at the career #'s. Rolen has never hit .300 in 8 seasons, never driven in more than 110, only topped 30 HR's twice( 31 both times) in his career, and never had an OPS over 1.000. All that may come to end this season, but in the meantime, since his debut Pujols has averaged .333 38HR's, and 127 RBI's with an OPS of 1.024. All this while playing through injury, at whatever position they want him to. You're right, he's not a gold glover, but he can play OF, 3B, and 1B which is just as valuable. The guys a legit triple crown threat who put together one of the best seasons last year that you may see in your lifetime. He led the league in BA, Hits, Doubles, Runs, total bases 2nd in OPS, 3rd in OBP, 4 in HR's, and RBI's. All this and he's a full 5 years younger than Rolen. In fact, for all the attention that he gets, he's still underrated. The guy's bat is ridiculous, and while it seems like he's been around forever, he's only 25.
