I believe if you click on "QUICK LINKS" up in the red bar above, you can read "New Posts" there.

After a while I don't think that people will even remember the old boards. The Quick Reply feature, the MS Word look to the reply screen, the new smileys, the different fonts, sizes, and colors. I haven't even seen all the new features yet.

I really like the mouse scrollover the article links. That way I can check out the thread without having to open it.

What's the "rep power" by our avatar? TC and I are sitting at 5, but Chi is languishing at a 4??? I "added to Chicat's reputation" since is one of the mosts solid posters on this board, not sure if that will boost him or not.

That "green light" saying the poster is on the board right now is pretty cool.

Yeah, I've been adding to all of my favorite posters reps, but what I want to know is how some people have 5's and others have 3's (like Auti). Is it a rep ranking coupled with your number of posts. I currently have 18 reputation points . . . for whatever that is worth.

Rep Power has to do with Join Date, number of posts, and feedback from other users.

We'll try to dig up the formula and list it here.

I also kinda like the option to have a profile picture of yourself other then it having to be your avatar (see Ben's profile)...nice to put a face with the poster even the creepy ones...hahaha j/k ;)

The member's list now shows your avatar and if you have a picture profile next to your name which is also pretty cool.

I was trying to change my avatar, but it didn't look like there was an option to put in a customized one. Am I just missing it?

Yeah, it's at the bottom of the Change Avatar page in the User CP. Make sure you hit the radio button that says Use Custom Avatar and then hit Browse to get your new avatar up.

Yeah I just saw that. There was nothing down there before.

I'm still having trouble though, because I am trying to upload jpg files, but it keeps telling me that the file type is wrong and needs to be a jpg. WTF? Oh well, I'll try again tomorrow.
