Go beavers!!!!!
Why? Every Wildcat fan should want USC to win and make a BCS bowl with Cal. If they lose and don't make a BCS bowl the UofA is out a lot of money.

I'm with Irish, all Cat fans should be hoping that the Trojans and Bears keep winning. If both teams go, the Cats are looking at getting hundreds of thousands of Dollars that can go to improving the athletic program overall.
USC 7 OSU 13 2+ left in the first half.

Um... Id take a victory over USC next week over hundreds of thousands of dollars. I couldnt care less if USC missed out on a BCS Bowl if we beat them...

Absolutely, BTD. As unrealistic as anything else sounds, why would anyone on this site even encourage the IDEA of rooting for the Wildcats to LOSE to USC next Saturday?

I would never seriously root against the Cats. I lived in Tucson for 20+ years and went to school and graduated from the UofA. I am not rooting for the Cats to lose next week. Like most on this site, I would love to see them win. I am being realistic about their chances. I would like to see USC and Cal make a BCS game. Dispite what some people may think, the athletic department would not mind some extra income from 2 Pac-10 representitives in the BCS.

Why? Because for once I'm not being objective about sports. I hate the hell out of USC and couldn't care less if they lost every game from here on out. I want USC to depend on the Cats making it to a BCS bowl to earn their money.

Exactly right, with two exceptions. First, I would root for Arizona to beat USC (but it ain't going to happen this year). Second, I would rather see ASU lose than go to a BCS bowl. :smokin:

I am in agreement with Irish and others. I was rooting like hell for both Cal and USC yesterday. And we all really should be. Both in the BCS is awesome for the conference and US too. Certainly I'll be rooting for the Cats next week though. But we have ZERO chance to beat USC. And we all know it.
To be rooting for the Beavers or Ducks (unless you're a Beaver or Ducks fan) was not the correct sentiment.
I was very disappointed in Stanford in the last two minutes last night. Very disappointed. ASU has escaped a couple games I felt they should have lost at Tempe.. Ucla being the other. It pains me to see them win that game last night after Stanford took the lead late. Just another perfect example of why going into a stupid ass prevent-type defense just sucks.

"Do you know why they call it a prevent defense? It prevents you from winning."
