The No. 22 Arizona volleyball team completed the season sweep of Arizona State, winning 30-16, 30-25, 30-27 over the Sun Devils at Wells Fargo Arena Friday.
The Wildcats improved to 17-9 overall and 9-7 in Pac-10, and with two regular-season matches left, ensure at least a .500 finish in the Pac-10.
"This was a good win for this time of year, going against a rival school and playing in a hostile environment," Arizona coach David Rubio said. "In games two and three, I was proud of how the team responded.
"They never panicked; they played steady, self-confident volleyball."
Junior Kim Glass led the way for UA, finishing with 20 kills and 11 digs for her ninth double-double of the season. Arizona senior Jolene Killough added 14 kills on 22 attempts for a .636 hitting percentage. She also added four digs and two blocks.
Juniors Bre Ladd and Jennifer Abernathy had seven kills apiece.
