oh god, shoot me know, even tho I have premium there arent even remotely the amount of posters on there that post on a regular basis and I dont think it would change that

Sorry, I wish the premium board could incorporate this vBulletin system but it's not going to happen. If I could do exactly what you said I would in less than a heartbeat. The content and conversation on the premium board is far more worthy of enhanced options and formatting.

Also, budd1e lee ... I would say with all confidence that over 90% of our premium members are read-only types. I for one think without question that a better forum with vBulletin-type toys would decrease that percentage in half almost immediately.

Are you free to divulge why Rivals can't adopt vBulletin? Is it some sort of contractual problem, or perhaps the adverts? Or, is it something like AOL insisting on producing its own web browser, even though they can't possibly produce a browser as well as the companies that have focused on improving their software for years (Netscape, Microsoft, etc.)?

In all honesty I wish I knew. It sure would seem like a great business decision for everyone involved wouldn't you think? And let me ask you this...wouldn't you think people would be even more inclined to interact on the Premium forums with v3 software? Just thinking about posting polls, etc. makes me think absolutely so.

We were told Rivals.com would be upgrading its message boards sometime soon but we still don't know how or when that is going to be. The front page is going to change very soon but nothing drastic.

as someone who admins another rivals site I wish we could use the main system of this site across the board.
