Christian Serena a LB from Sahuaro in Scottsdale is going to walk on for the cats this fall. He was an all state pick and is about 6'1 230lbs and is supposed to be a decent prospect in a position I felt that we did not get enough commits at in this recruiting class. The great part about him is that everyone thought he was going to Walk-On to ASU but choose us Cats instead!
In other news it looks like my suprise prospect commit fell through, sorry about that. Also everyone I am hearing from is raving about Ryan Kilpatrick a DE or LB from Fort Worth, Texas. This kids i supposed to be a real find with great speed and most important of all great heart. I love kids with heart because to be successful at this level you not only need talent but heart and determination as well.
Also ESPN ranked our class as the 4th best in the Pac-Ten which was quite an honor right behind the scummies. I think we pullled in a great class, obvioulsy I thought we should have done even better but I am never satisfied. All things considered though this is a great class and is much better then a most all of tomey's classes. One thing that no one can argue about Mack is that he sure is a great recruiter. We are collecting some young talent that this school has never seen before. Thats it for now and I will try and give update when I gain any info throughout the rest of the year. Later Cat Fans.
