Is Tice being paid in peanuts? Does he need to do that for what seems like chump change to him???? This is disturbing as much as pathetic.

According to the article, he's the NFL's lowest-paid head coach at $1 million per season. Not exactly peanuts. Still the money they make turning around the tickets is tax-free (well, since they aren't reporting the income) and I don't know that I'd consider it chump change. I agree though, pathetic.

Agreed! Money is money and should never be considered chump no matter what amount :)

Mike was sloppy like his coaching. The NFL will just give him a big fat fine to send a message to other coaches to be careful with their Super Bowl tickets.It looks like Mike Tice went to a service that could be traced directly back to him.

Another angle might be that it gives the new owner, Reggie Fowler, an option to fire Tice if he so pleases for cause.

What I'm more concerned about is the petty backstabber person or organization that turned him in?
