You have to wonder sometimes if the NFL has too much practice. I mean mini camp should be going over new schemes.

MIAMI - Miami Dolphins cornerback Will Poole is expected to miss the 2005 season with a knee injury suffered during minicamp last week.
Poole was a leading candidate to replace Pro Bowl cornerback Patrick Surtain, traded last month to Kansas City.

The Dolphins fear Poole torn the anterior cruciate ligament in his left knee, said his agent, Drew Rosenhaus.

"We think it's pretty significant," Rosenhaus said on Miami television station WSVN.
The Dolphins declined to comment Monday. New coach Nick Saban limits information released regarding injuries.

Poole, a fourth-round draft pick in 2004, played in 15 games last season. Other contenders to replace Surtain include Travis Daniels, a fourth-round draft choice last month, and veterans Reggie Howard and Mario Edwards.
