Folks, can anyone provide any details on what I would classify as two huge recruits in this class. Much as Willie T jump started last years class with a huge bang, I'm even more excited about the potential results this coming class may bring.

The much talked about courting of monster recruits Louis Holmes 6'7"/290(DT) and Tylor Lyon 6'5"/235 (QB) are must get players in my opinion. These are simply difference makers of the first order.

What is our current position with these two incredible talents. Additionally Stoops and company has really raised the talent bar....our recruits have big-time physical presents and football nastiness written all over them. I believe the addition of underrated Colin Baxter 6'3"/280 OL is a prime example of what we will be witnessing in short order. That kid has 6'3"/315 written all over him and he's going to be one hell of a physical specimen be it on the DL or OL. Call me crazy but I'm certain that the Cats previous and almost chronic OL weakness is going to be an absolute nightmare for opposing teams in short order.

Don't even get me started on the DL if we land JC All American Louis Holmes.....This guy is that good. The slightly diminished scholarships numbers this year should really result with a major influx of big-time quality at all positions. Our staff has planted the gauntlet.....very few sleepers or projects are going to be coming the UofA from here on out.

Don't forget about transfer students/players. Sometimes things just don't work out at one University and a top player may decide to take his talent elsewhere. They may have to sit out for a year but at least they get a chance to showcase their talents at Arizona. The coaches are not going to reveal what is up until a player actually transfers. Its a real touchy subject as a coach does not want to be accused of poaching.

Junkie, very good points......the recruiting game at times can be filled with land mines or dreams dashed. Having said that, it sure is nice to have the chance to sign some real talent. And outstanding talent is what we are getting.

Thanks

Guys we are in on so many big time talents this year I dont even know how to reply to this post. I have seen Louis Holmes at a few pool parties this year and around the football field down here in Tucson and the guy is a monster. Absolutely the real deal. I think he could be a Julius Peppers like DE he is so tall, fast, physical, athletic, ect.

I just talk to big big time corner Shareece Wright tonight and will put up a premium article on him soon as well. Again, I dont know how to reply to this but wait and see all the football coverage we will start having about big time guys and big time sleepers. Things look great so far, and Baxter was a great start this year.

I think Lyon is a great player and loved his game this weekend, but I think Lyon is all about potential and being that quarterback that takes the job his junior year or so and just dominates. There are not very many QBs out there with his potential which is what Arizona needs from a QB this year.

If you guys are really getting excited about this then get premium in the coming weeks cause there will constantly be good stuff out, and Josh and I will try to get stuff on the guys you all want to hear about.
