I think everyone here predicted the Vikings to make the playoffs and most people also had the Ravens making the playoffs and even winning the superbowl.

Anyone ready to change their picks already?

Nah. That division is so bad, the Vikings will eventually win it.

As for the Ravens. I had them as a wild-card team and should have gone with my gut and not had them in the playoffs. I allowed a few of you to sway me after I didn't have them making the playoffs in the standings portion.

Damn those Chargers and Cardinals :fur:

EDIT: Actually after checking, I did have the Ravens in the playoffs. But I was right on with Bollier...

Cincy will be a playoff team.

Looking back, people were way off with Ravens, Eagles, Rams, Vikings, Falcons, and Cards.

I actually underestimated my Bears by picking them as a wildcard!

How the Seahawks were picked so infrequently boggles me.

How the Seahawks were picked so infrequently boggles me.

I'm a big Hawks fan and even I thought before the season that they were in for another typical Seahawk year (either 9-7, 8-8, or 7-9...seems like they are always around .500). They added some pieces but nothing great, the Cards were the trendy pick, the Rams were still thought to be a better team, and the Niners couldn't be any worse than last year.

I guess they've had the key guys together long enough that they finally learned how to win close games, and games on the road. It didn't hurt that the Cardinals failed to live up to the hype, the Rams just weren't that good, and the Niners were only marginally better than last year.

I sure am glad that predictions don't mean anything though. 13-2....NFC playoffs go through Seattle (HUGE)!

I'm just guessing, but I'm thinking everyone here must have thought Culpepper would get injured before he fumbled away 5 losses.

 I guess I can take some solace in the fact that the Eagles totally fell apart do to injury and off the field stuff...but man was I way off. The Ravens???

edit: Wow, looking at it more closely, the NFC is terrible because of all the QB injuries. McNabb, Bulger, and Culpepper were all going to lead what should hav ebeen postseason-bound squads. Well, maybe not Bulger - he was injured fairly late in the season...but still - those are the NFCs two best QBs out for most of the season.
