I thought this was Detroit's year?

As pro football goes, The Lions are the Cubbies, but without the nationwide fan support. Inept, year after year, after year.

Makes sense now...I was wondering why you were defending them so fiercely in the other thread.

They were the trendy pick. A radio show had the main linemaker in Vegas on and he said he would be rooting against the Vikings because sooo many bets came for them. he said if they lose they are going to make a ton of money. I bet he is smiling right now

I'm smiling right now.

I don't understand why anyone would think a team that looked miserable last weekend, would be able to go into a very hostile environment, and slow down a dynamic offense, and a team that, in all honesty, has more talent all over the field?

He was talking about the entire season on the over/under on how many games they would win. Cinci's offense has tons of talent and if Minnesota had trouble defensively last week I don't know why anybody would pick them on the road. Tice is a terrible road coach and the Vikings have been a terrible road team

I'm not sure how the Vikings defense is so terrible. They really had soe great pickups.

Just shows to go ya...

If Detroit is terrible, what does that make Green Bay?

I miss Moss. Daunte is my fantasy QB. Well... he was my fantasy QB...

Starting next week... Carson Palmer!

I can admit Daunte may be missing moss but i highly doubt it. the O line is not giving Daunte any time to throw the ball. That is not the lone factor due to the fact that he made some very bad choices on those 5 tds. The pressure is coming up the middle where matt birk is being missed.

The Lions are NOT the Cubs. Not in any way, shape or form.

The Lions just suck... that's all.... end of story. Have you ever been to Detroit? Nothing lovable ever came out of the Motor City.

Agreed. Lions suck. I can't believe how bad they looked today.

I didn't pick the Vikes to win, but I also didn't see a humiliating loss with 5ints for Culpepper.

I can't wait to see the Vikings play the Lions. Over/Under on total INTs could be 10, and total turnovers could 15.

Mark Fydrich wasn't loveable?

Actually, I have been to Detroit. How come they can't call that a disaster area and have Bush rebuild it?

I'm having a hard time deciding which team has the worst offensive line, The Lions or the Cardinals. I'm going with the Li-Li's. Harrington is not as bad as he seemed yesterday, but He's not very good either. Mooch might want to start tanking for the Leinart derby.

That's what you get when you trade the most dynamic WR in the game.
