Is this for real? At 5'11, 165lbs, Ben Howland looks to have made the steal of the century.

I don't get it? What's so funny about Kelvin Kim? He was a very good pg in So Cal last year and had an opportunity to play for Ivy League schools. He'll be a nice practice player to push Collison and Farmar.

Kid had offers to go elsewhere, yet decided to follow his heart and walked-on at UCLA on his nickel. Sounds like a plus to the program, since he won't be taking up any schollies.

Like someone said, he was on the first team All OC team. Not sure why this matters. I do see you are trying to scout UCLA, which is good.

He will be a very good walk on for UCLA and will probably earn a scholie before he graduates. Quick, tough kid.

He's my favorite Pac-10 12th man since Kyle Kazan of USC (Class of 1989). Dude could ball like no walk-on since Anthony Edwards in Revenge of the Nerds.

Kim got in the game tonight, here is a note.
And, finally, I would be remiss if I didn't mention Kelvin Kim bringing the crowd to their feet in the last 5 minutes, with a hard drive to the basket completed by a fall-away bank shot while being fouled. The FT was a brick, but he will be a crowd favorite during scrub time this year. If only he were as big as his heart.
