The Bruins sign a kid from Serbia-Montenegro Marko Spica who is reportedly 6 9 1/2. Here's hoping Ben Howland found our Ivan Radenovic in Europe.

Also Kevin Love took his first unofficial visit and was on campus this past weekend.

Has anyone seen film on this guy before? Is he slender like Radenovic?

Also, how big (thick) is Aboya? UCLA's frontcourt is so frail-looking (Fey lost a lot of weight, but he was probably worse when he was fat) that it seems like they need someone with muscle inside. Am I wrong?

Aboya is a beast. Very physically mature already. I can't vouch for his actual skills though. I'm hoping he can become a Jeff Varem type down the road. That's kind of who he resembles physically.

That would be good for the Bruins, NOVA. Varem was a very serviceable guy, and a guy like that would complement UCLA's quickness and athleticism. They need someone who can be tough, because they aren't gonna get it from Fey or Hollins.

I agree, Aboya is a major key on this team because eh will have to defend a strong post in the future. Ryan Wright is not redshirting like some believed so we'll see if he can play. In the last exhibition Wright was probably the most impressive center on the team, but he's still very raw so expectations have tempered a bit on him.

Think MoTang, but wider. Looks like an NFL tight end, just taller. Plus, he's already about 20 years old, so physically matured already.
