We win an ugly game but no need for this. Let's win with class, no need to act like Illinois fans.

As for the game, looks like as today Walters and Brielmaier will be our guys down low. Still a lot of time to improve.

A little more experience and Kansas will be just fine. See you in March.

Both teams didn't play their best by far.

Mostly AZ.

KU fans ignore the leaving stuff.
I would like your imput on how you expected KU to really play.

Also see you in March.

Props to KU for weathering the full-press storm and denying the lane from start to finish.

There were some exceptions, but Kansas fans were a pretty good lot of trash talkers, it was fun.

This is a dumb thread. Let's not join the masses in being classless.

Sorry to my fellow Cat fans, but over the summer, I was absolutely sick and tired of dealing with this contingent of fans. The incident with Ben was absolutely despicable, because no matter how many times he'd apologize, clowns like Toadius and Aural kept throwing it up.

I know this thread is classless... but I am nowhere near as classless as Bill Self or any KU fan that has flamed here in recent months.

Congratulations you played an all freshman team that gave you a game until the last 4 minutes when they started playing like true freshman. Sadly there are a lot of Zona fans here who actually realize this wasnt the typical KU team that won 4 of the last 5 meetings, but irregardless our frosh held you to 28 percent shooting and kept the game within 4 until that last few minute meltdown in their FIRST real college game. 27 turnovers and we only lost by 11 thats not bad in my book. Im not taking anything away from Zonas win tonight, you all struggled down the stretch but your obvious experience payed off and got ya the deserved win. Most pf the idiots Ive seen post here had us washed up and being blown out, I hope this shows you that young or not we are still a team to not take lightly and come tourney time I doubt you would pick us to play again. You all played a fantastic game, Rogers is a stud in the making and your role players really stepped up tonight. To the KU haters, **** you, KU will be back stronger then ever, Zona will be in our spot soon enough, but to you real fans, it was a great game to watch and I look forward to seeing you all in March again. Goodluck on the season

No we won't. Lute never leaves the cupboard bare. And the one year it was almost bare - 2002, the year after 4 of our starting 5 bolted for the NBA - we started the season by beating #2 Maryland (who eventually won the NC) and Florida, who was ranked #6. If the players switch team jerseys yesterday and Lute coaches your guys you probably win, as bad as Adams, Radenovic, Shakur, Fox, Williams, et. al, played yesterday. Self sucks.

Congrats on your win.

Both teams looked ragged last night. It was a very hard game to watch. It certainly wasn't the most entertaining UA/KU game I've ever seen. Usually our games are awesome to watch.

I wished we played you guys every year. I've always been a big fan of Lute and Arizona and enjoyed watching his teams play over the years (except in 1997 ;), still the most painful sports loss I've ever experienced).

Good luck the rest of the year.

I don't think any of us want to see Kansas again :) A lot of length, and a lot of athleticism. I have no doubt they'll be in the tourney, and I have no doubt 2007 (assuming your young guns don't jump prematurely) will be a dynamite year for you guys.

Bearing down on continuing a great inter-sectionally rivalry for a long time.

You also didnt just change head coaches, once Olson retires you all will have the same drop off that any program has with a change over. Its all for the good though, as long as these guys stick around we will be a dominate force the next few years with this class
