This just in Josh Booty is doing the unthinkable, go to ESPN.com to see that Josh Booty the ALL-World QB recruit from LA who has commited to the USC Trojans is SKIPPING his senior year of high school to enroll at USC this fall. I do not think this has ever been done and I guess this kid has the talent to do it. Any other sport I could see it but Football. It will very interesting to see how he turns out and I hope this does not start any trends. What Next, skipping high school to go straight from junior high to the pros.

I vaguely remember that Maurice Clarett left high school a semester early to enter Ohio State in time for spring ball before his freshman year...I guess that sort of sets a precedent for this...

Kid has required credits from Evangel High to graduate and
jump over to the next level. His father was fired from Evangel
(quarterback coach) before the announcement was made, which
may have played a USC role.

How is LSU looking?

are showing great arms in spring sessions. Matt looks the better of both. Lost his scrambling abilities due to ankle injury last season, but has made up with with arms.

We are looking forward to our visit in September. Should be well attended by LSU fans. We brought 14K to Virginia Tech last year, but Va Tech is around alumni base.

(PS: The state troopers in Blacksburg VA called for riot police
back up on us w/shields and water guns for crowd control,
but that's another story!)

One concern that I have (along with others) is that we booked our flight(s) with American Airlines. Hoping they do not go by bankruptcy way.

LSU chat room talk (www.tigerroar.com <paid membership>) has plenty of people going to the game. Quite suprised at price of
ticket for AZ vs LSU game ($20) each. Game tickets are the
lowest I've seen in years. LSU is up to $36 per ticket and Gump
Central (Alabama) jumped to $40 each.

and I hope it is a good game although you guys will be tough. Our fate relays in how fast a young QB can gain control over the offense and how our OLine can block a big team like yours. Also if this new 3-4 defense is really going to work.

Mr Prediction

LSU 24
Arizona 10

Good game but LSU pulls away in the end of the third quarter. We will see though. Pissed off I am graduating and will not be able to watch the game at Arizona Stadium.

I certainly hope LSU has matured enough (we're still recovering fromt he Dinardo era) to win early games! Perhaps one day you will be able to see your Cats in Tiger Stadium!

Cheers and Congratulations

where you guys come here and play and then we go there and play? I have heard LSU is a TOUGH place to play. Do people there still hate Dinardo? He is not doing anything with Indiana

I got this link from our site:

http://www.sportingnews.com/voices/tom_dienhart/20030421.html

Most likely AZ returns a visit to LSU in 2005; VA Tech is coming to LSU in 2004.

Regarding Tiger Stadium ~~~ what can I say, it's the best football environment in the land (....and not because I bleed purple and gold)!
