I know there are a few other PS2 & Xbox players out there - so you should appreciate this.
With EA losing the MLB license for the forseeable future, they have changed directions and will use the MVP engine that ran MVP Baseball the last few years and turn it into a college baseball game.

Check it out - they use the UA home turf in some of the promo shots

Turns out the lead designer for the game - is none other than a UA Grad
EA SPORTS: What is your favorite school to play with and why?
Brinkman: Easy: The University of Arizona, because it’s where I attended college. My buddies and I spent many afternoons and evenings at Sancet Field (what it was called when I was there) taking in games. In fact, I used to work at Arizona baseball games when I was a student assistant in the UA Sports Information Department under the legendary Tom Duddleston. I am a long time fan of NCAA Baseball which is part of the reason why I am so excited about making this game.
Just passing that info along - rumor is it will be out sometime in the spring of 2006. If you check out some of the videos you can hear the actual bat pings and see that they were true - right down to the bat graphics for college baseball.
