I'll tell you what happened scummies: you resigned dirk (a move that I am very excited about!) and we went out and got a top 20 recruiting class last year, followed by a top 10 recruiting class this year.

i seem to recall teams like USC, FSU, Miami, Florida, VaTech and others playing past November in most years...yet they don't get "a little quiet on the recruiting front." Florida just got Tim Tebow, all while prepping for a bowl game in '06.

If you have been paying attention, you'd realize that this may very well be your last bowl game for quite a while, and today is just another stepping stone for us to get into bowl contention for years to come. You'd rather be talking about playing Rutgers than talking about getting Louis Holmes? Fine. You go with that.

So let me understand something. The scummies are saying that they are preparing for a bowl game that is why they are quiet on the recruiting front. They should be worried about the type of players the UA is getting. We have been down for a long time and in order for us to become a good program again we need to get better players, which we are. Stoops is building a foundation of good talent while ASU is preparing for their last bowl game for a long time, especially since Dirk will be there forever. You barely beat a 3-8 team and thats just because half of our offense got hurt but thats okay you can have this year but enjoy it your reign will be over soon.

Sam Keller is a pretty damn good quarterback, even though I *hate* that stupid twinkle-fingers move he does.

My question is whether he projects well as an NFL QB. He seems to be a good decision maker, but it also seems that whoever Dirk plugs into the offense does a good job and passes for a ton of yards. That's a credit to DK's offensive schemes and playcalling (despite his lack of committment to the run).

So, is Sam Keller (unorthodox delivery and all) an NFL caliber QB when he's done? I am assuming that he will be the starter next year.

I say Sam Keller is not a NFL caliber QB. His decision making abilty in tough situations (SC) is shaky, and his arm strength is not where it needs to be. I believe he is a good college QB, buth that's it.
