UA over WSU - 'ye of little faith, although I expected it to be closer, like most folks here. 'Cats are going to be tough.

UCLA over 'Furd - I don't think you guys will recognize UCLA's defensive mindset these days. Around 20 point lead the whole game. Josh Shipp is back, Bozeman out for the game, and should be for the short term at least. Farmar tweaked his ankle again, and was out for the last 14-15 minutes. The young posts are doing well, with Mata having improved by a lot, and the Prince is the real deal. Aboya/Wright's also adding to the giddiness of Bruin fans. Not too many teams will outrebound UCLA.

Cal over SC - closer than I thought, with SC really thin up front, but then again, we are talking about Cal.

UW over ASU - close for much longer than anticipated. Maybe somebody from the Husky camp can elaborate.

truth be told, i didn't see the UW game...but i tracked it on the internet.
from what i gather, UW started out VERY cold. they got good shots, but shot like 13 for 40.
they came out in the2nd half on a 10-0 run and never looked back. Roy stepped up HUGE with 35pts, 5rb, 4ast, 2bl.
ASU couldn't stop Roy.

ACA nailed it pretty well. Looked like first game jitters or something. UW missed first 11 shots even though most were wide open looks. Had only 2 points through first 5 and a half minutes (scored 89 in the next 34and a half) Ended up shooting around 30% in the first half, even though we controlled the pace of the game were only up by 2. 2nd half was just us hitting those wide open looks we missed in first half, but the D stepped up even more. UW shot 57% in 2nd half and just steam rolled ASU. B Roy had 35 points. Only 3 TO's all game for UW. That's about it. Oh Brockman got nailed with a elbow to the face/nose area about 6 minutes into the 2nd half and didn't play the rest of the game, post game show didn't say much just nothing broken.
