I'm glad he moved up in the rotation with his terrific practices, but would someone remind me why everyone thinks Dillon is such a great defender? He can't stay in front of his man... nice rebounding effort, but he's tipping them right to 'nova players.

Staf looking good... 'nova takes good care of the ball. Their full-court press should be very easy to break, but we need to make them pay with some easy buckets after we get through it.

MWill can't stay in front of Foye. He made alot of shots, including the one at the end of the half, under duress.

He keeps that up we're doomed. I am not so sure that he can.

'nova applies intense defensive pressure. Props to them, but they got away with alot of fouls (namely the clear out with the elbow), and we got away with a few, too. Some of the "no-calls" (going both ways) made no sense to me.

Nova a very solid team. Very athletic and quick on defense, particularly. Hitting every single free throw attempt too. Those add up so big. We've missed a couple. A bucket right there.

Unfortunately, Foye right now is simply hitting contested shots right over people. There is not a lot you can adjust to there. Just keep playing good defense and hope he starts missing. Right now it is the proverbial case of the only one who will stop Foye is Foye.

Specific defensive assignments don't mean a lot in this game because we are switching constantly on the perimeter rather than sticking with assignments through screens. Pretty good idea considering how good they are at running their opponent through screens on the perimeter, but we have gotten lost on occasion. It'll be interesting to see if we stay with that defensive approach in the second half or try to keep someone glued to Foye.

I was talking about adjustments on Foye in particular. There are many other things UA can do to counter Foye, and Marcus is doing his part offensively, but I'm not sure I want him covering Foye for long stretches either. He's hitting shots on everyone: Marcus, Ivan, Hassan, Chris, Daniel.
