Baugher Waived

Just read this on ESPN's transactions, "Cincinnati Bengals Signed defensive end Frostee Rucker to a four-year contract; waived punter Danny Baugher."

Hopefully he gets a chance elsewhere because he has a huge leg.

Anyone know if his injury would have been a factor in this?

Also, don't know if this has already been posted, but the Redskins signed Kili Lefotu about a month and a half ago.

As far as I've read, he's been punting great. It's just that P's don't get that many chances.

What about D Brooks getting waived by Dallas? Shocker IMO. He has deffinetly got to get picked up somewhere else. He is way too talented.

Not really a major shocker for one reason... Parcells' suggested the other day that he is going to cut guys early in camp if he feels they have no chance to make the team. Doesn't want to spend the time to teach guys stuff who won't make the roster. DBrooks had a tough road in Dallas... after Williams... a log jam of mediocure players... but tons of them. Bill is looking for a guy who can compete this season, no projects- which is DBrooks.

In all honesty, getting cut early is a good thing for him... chance to find a team and get in their system before preseason games start
