LSU traditionally wears its white jersey at home - one of the few schools in D-1 to do so. If you could make the call, what home uni combo would you want to see the 'Cats wearing out on the field at Death Valley?

My vote would be red shirt, white pants...what's yours?

If anybody remembers, Killbot did a killer collage of suggested color combos as far as UA football jerseys go on the "Is RED the true color of Cats fans?" thread on this forum. RED on RED would be killer but that isn't offered YET. RED pants with a white jersey and RED helmet would be off the hook too but, unfortunately, that isn't offered either. Regardless, RED has to be included whatever we wear over in Louisiana.:bandana:

Blue on white. The only other school I seem to recall that wears white unis at home is Georgia Tech.... I think that's the case anyway, but I could be wrong.

There is one condition on LSU wearing it's white "road" jersey at home.....the visiting team must agree to it. There have been instances where the visiting team has insisted on wearing their visiting jersey, forcing LSU to wear it's "home" purple. In the past, that has not fared well for the visitor. It's usually just something else to use to fire up both the fans, and the team.

LSU does normally wear their "home" purple for the first home non-conference game, which is Sept 2 vs La-Lafayette. There have been exceptions, though, but most visiting teams like to wear their home jerseys on the road.

What do ya'll perfer? Would you like to see Arizona in white, or come out in some color? The game is scheduled for ESPN.

Yeah, I agree LSU1, there's a very good chance we'll be wearing our purples this week, which I hate. I'd love seeing us play in our road whites...it's just tradition. But I have a hunch we may see LSU wearing purple jersies. Or they could wait until Fresno or Tulane.

They are red shirts and red pants with corrugated metal plate illustrations on the knees, ass and shoulders. Apparently they use a new number font designed just for Arizona football - called Stoops Bold #5. Cutting edge stuff, from what I hear.

Wow, it's a beautiful thang to read others who agree with my assessment that RED and RED is an option that should be available. Not everyone is feeling crabby and it would be nice for this to be made available. Notice how lovely it was to look into the stands at last week's BYU game and see nothing but a sea of RED?
