If this were done like the officials, with the best advancing after each round, Vern and Billy would be the Final Four team for CBS.

When Raftery used "alacrity," I got more than a litte excited.

They are consistently entertaining and informative. **** CBS for giving us Nantz-Packer for the 78th consecutive year.

According to Wikipedia, Billy Packer has done the Final Four every year since 1977 (and did 1975 too).

And before Jim Nantz, he was paired with Brent Musburger. Just thinking about having to hear Musburger and Packer hurts my ears and my brain.

For some time, it was a threesome, with Al McGuire. That worked better, because Al could get him to ligthen up now and then.

I don't think Packer is awful; he's just gotten to full of himself.
