That's about what I would think, with SC in front of Oregon.

I would switch 'Cats and the Trees around (bias aside I think our guard situation is a tad better and great as dominate big's are . . . having the guys to get them the ball counts more) . . .other than that, good list.

SC is a great big, fat ?. They could be very good. . . or they could be a soap opera ("The continuing story of a program gone to the egos. . . " ).

1. UCLA (and it ain't close)
2. WSU
3. Stanford
4. Arizona
5. USC
6. Oregon
7. Washington
8. ASU
9. Cal
10. OSU

I agree that at least 6 teams make it into the dance again. As for AZ being #1, ummm... I think youth and the coaching changes will prevent that next year but I would not have expected anything less in terms of predictions from you Guert. :)

I agree with your point in general but I don't think we will see Mitch as the starting PG for Stanford next year. I think Goods takes over at PG and that Fields will be the starting SG. Assuming the Lopez twins improve with a year under their belt, they will be hell for everyone including UCLA.

Agreed. Lose Pruitt and sc will have lost its top 3 scorers from last year. Mayo and Jefferson (assuming he's in) could become nightmares from a chemistry standpoint for Floyd.

So your true colors come out! You are a UCLA fan!

So your true colors come out! You are a UCLA fan!

It's unbelievable -- actually, now it's just getting comical -- how some members of this board, such as Lando, are incapbale of making a distinction between praising a program and rooting for a program.

As I've said numerous times in other threads, I like UCLA about as much as Calista Flockhart likes cheeseburgers. A Bruin loss, I'd argue, feels almost as good as an Arizona victory. Understand that I root just as ardently against UCLA as I root for Arizona. Got it?

That said, UCLA absolutely ownsArizona these days. It's unfortunate, and I eagerly look forward to the day when this trend reverses. But for now, the Bruins are kings of the Pac, and I expect their reign to continue in 2007-08. Saying so doesn't make me a fanof UCLA; it just means I like their chances of dominating our league for a third consecutive year.
