Unfortunately there is more to kicking than kicking for distance. The kicker has to learn to finesse the kick so that the opponent is pinned inside the 10 and not always getting the ball on the 20.

Our running game is just awful, aside from trick plays. The only time it's done anything this year is after we wore out a weak NAU team late in the game.
