I have read two conflicting reports. The AZ Star says something different from the Citizen. The Star says KO is the coach IF Olson doesn't come back next year but that future years have yet to be discussed.

The official UA press release makes it quite clear that KO is to succeed Olson "when Olson's tenure as head coach concludes". Future years have definitely been discussed and agreed upon.

I'm actually a little surprised because I thought Coach O'Neill would want to go back and coach in the pros. I'm glad he's staying because I believe he will keep the UA basketball program rolling. It is a relief knowing what's going to happen when Lute retires.
