Wow. I've grown up watching that guy. First as a Cubs fan then later as a D-Backs fan. I will always remember his pitching performance at Bank One last year. It was one of several times I saw him in person. That Mike Fetters impression was hallarious!!

Mark is one of those quality guys that is a model for so many young players. He always had the right approach to the game, other players, and fans.

Hope he lands a coaching job in the future!

What I remember most is the 89 Pennant against the Giants. I think he got a hit every time at bat. It is too bad that Will Clark did too, except some of his were for homers.

I met Mark Grace at a golf pro-am. The guy is classic. He'd down a beer at almost every hole and bum cigarettes from people in the crowd. He was also really friendly, he signed and took pictures with fans all day.

Mark Grace will probably end up in the broadcast booth. He has the personality for it.
