That an otherwise classy sports fan like yourself is so so poor when it comes to baseball.

You take more pleasure in the Giant's postseason failure(although it's a 1/8 chance once you get there...so maybe not a failure), than you have pain in the Dodgers' continued incompetence. That's seven straight years of finishing behind the G-men......ouch...such a once proud franchise.

It's all so very ASU, and like the huge letdown they will all feel when the Cats finally win a Rose Bowl, you will be left with a huge, huge empty feeling when the Giants win it all. There will be nothing left for you, Tommy Fatsorda and all the sleazy blue fans to hang their hats on.

That time is coming very soon.

Very nice to see BaBo wait at least one more year... The baseball gods have come to place judgement on that [edited: prick]

Tell me Daht....why do you think that Barry is a "prick"?

Is it because the media tells you what you should believe>

He doesn't beat or cheat on his wife.

He doesn't get DUI's.

He doesn't cheat.

He does however donate thousands and thousands of dollars to local Peninsula schools.

He is by all accounts a tremendous family man who adores his kids.

His only crime is not engaging members of the media.

SO tell me again why you believe him to be a prick?

It's true that the Dodgers suck and will continue to as long as Fox and Dan evans are in charge. That being siad, I find it amusing that any Giants fan would criticize a Dodgers fan for taking glee in their demise. I grew up watching great Dodger teams get knocked out of post season play by bad Giant teams with zippo to play for, and the ensuing glee in "A City by a A body of water." And I would expect nothing more or nothing less. After all, it is one of the best and most passionate rivalries in all of sports.

So when I make sport of the Giants continuing failure to win it all, it just goes with the territory. Do the Giants have scoreboard over the Dodgers currently? Surely. Is Brian Sabean a master GM? Definitely. Is Peter McGowan an outstanding owner? Absolutely. But have the Giants still failed to EVER win a World Series Title while in Frisco? No question. And will true blue Dodger fans rejoice in this? Till the day it no longer is, or the day we no longer are whichever comes first.

It's a rivalry NCC, deal with it. :)

PS Their is nothing classy about the Dodger-Giant rivalry. Dodger fans live off of their LA successes while Giants fans live off of Thompson's homerun. All's fair in love and war, unless of course a Giants fan is armed with either a gun or D cells.

PPS ASU fans are right to poke fun at the UA for never having been to the Rose Bowl, just like UA fans are correct for slamming ASU's Final Four-less hoops program. If ASU did not mock the UA, they might as well not be a rival.

it still rings a bit untrue if you're not the team causing the misery.

In 1993 fine, gloat dance around all you want.....scoreboard Dodgers.

But, when you finish behind the G's, one could make the case that your msery is much more profound then ours.

Anyways, you know I get testy this time of year.

And my point about ASU is this....sure they rag us, but it is such a hollow point to rag on. When U of A gets to a Rose Bowl they will have absoluetly nothing left.....and for all eternity they will be U of A's submissive little B#$$^.

Oh how I long for that day.

I don't like the Dodgers or Giants but Giant fans can't talk crap about the Dodgers. The Giants have not won a World Series since they moved to San Francisco while the Dodgers have won I think 2 or 3 titles since moving to LA.

I believe Barry Bonds is the best player I have ever seen and should be considered one of the best of all-time but I sure won't lose any sleep if he does not ever win a title.

Oh well if you want to know why I feel that way, then ok I guess you successfully baited me in...

He disrespects the history of baseball by the comments he makes. Babe who?

He has not given even 50 percent effort into becoming better defensivly (when the last time you've seen him dive for a ball in an important out? 1998 is the last time I have).

He is a cancer to the team. He will show up players for making mistakes on the field, once even when he was at fault, lol that was a classic.

I only make comments as they relate to baseball, as there are A LOT of players off the field who do good things, as it should be expected in my mind.

After all,,, I said the baseball gods have given judgement on him and exacted punishment once again :-)
