Is it Tebow or is it the system. I think it is the system, any QB with marginal talent would do well at Florida with all those studs on the team.

I am just not impressed with Tebow and he really gets on my nerves. I dont think he will get a sniff as a starter in the league personally.

I don't know, but what I do know is...is that the man is a warrior.

He's a head coach's dream.

Guy is and athlete for sure but no. Just no.

He may start, just not at QB.

I think he will if he can quicken his release substantially.

He doesn't have NFL arm strength does he?

Just another Eric Crouch.

Not at qb.

I dont understand, has there been talk that he may play another position in the NFL and what position would he play?

I don't think he has NFL ability at any position. Just a great overall athlete, just not an exceptional one which is required in the NFL. Hence my comparison to Eric Crouch, who also won the Heisman at QB but was drafted as a WR, also tried safety, but is out of any level of football.

That's always what they try to do with qb's who are physical specimens that don't have the NFL arm. That would describe tebow. He's huge, and reasonably fast, understands the game. Why wouldn't you give him a chance at say te or maybe an inside posession type receiver?

The reason he stayed at Florida is the fact it is probably his last year as a qb.

6'3" 240 lbs vs 6'0" 210 lbs is a huge difference when trying to translate to another position. Crouch didn't have the mental toughness to make the transition, as we later learned when he never played a game for thr rams and quit with the packers.

I think Tebow would play at the linebacker position if given the chance.

I would love for Tebow to go to the Panthers, and I don't care at what position. He'd never complain, work his ass off at whatever you ask him to do, be the perfect player of the field and would NEVER put himself before the team. I would gladly take him on my team and give him as long as he might need to work it out at QB or another position because of the type of guy and competitor he is.

At the very least, he could be the best practice squad player you could ask for, he could probably fill in at multiple positions, while giving you the best practice QB ever. You don't find players with his talent playing on the practice squad at QB, but you know if it was helping the team he would relish the opportunity to do it.

I will never underestimate players with the type of drive that propels Tebow. Kid has tasted success early in his career and still fights as hard as anyone. I don't doubt there's issues, but he will get drafted, and there he'll be developed within a system and I think his physical talent and skill is good enough to work his way into a starting role in time.

You gotta look at it this way..

If you draft Tebow, you draft Jesus and frankly that's a winning combination

That may be true, but if God can't even beat Dik-ka, what chance does Jesus have?

Tim Tebow is not an NFL player.

Great leadership, great warrior, solid character, fantastic athlete, and a graduate assistant coach.

He won't be a QB that's for sure. If anything Tebow will either make the transition Matt Jones made or strictly be a Wildcat type player.

That was the lamest segment on Tebow ever on CGD.

Um No. His arm motion goes below his waist meaning he would have to completely redo his arm mechanics to play in the NFL. Difficult proposition.

I don't see it.

He'll start but it might be as the wedge buster on special teams. Love his competitiveness.
