Out 3-4 weeks on an injury that happened on the safety. Richard Brehaut will take over as the starter for the Kansas State game and depending on how fast Prince comes back, the Stanford and/or Oregon games also.

Tough kid. Took a tremendous shot. Sorry to see he is out. 4 weeks with a broken jaw is incredibly fast healing.

That is just cruel! Anyway, really tough break(no pun intended) for UCLA.

Thats a tough loss for the Bruins. I was not real high on them coming into the season as I thought they were still a year or two away from being really consistently good on both sides of the ball again.

There defense is playing well but offensively they had surprised me. Guess we will see how much of it was the QB or the more efficient line play.

Even Craft can beat KSU

At home I would think he should. But, damn Craft is bad. Still, hopefully UCLA wins this weekend. Kstate should be terrible.

Wasn't wearing his mouth piece according to ESPN 710 in LA. Not sure it would have made a difference on the jaw but the blood in his mouth...maybe.

That's just dumb of the kid. I guess he forgot it in the excitement.

Yes, it would have made a difference, expecially if he clenched his jaw (automatic reflex) right before the hit.

I agree it wasn't the smartest move...but I remember wayyy back in my HS QB days i hated the mouth piece. It makes it tough to call signals. Only put it on when i was warned by the referee.

Well he learned a valuable lesson. It is hard for me to believe he will be back in 3 or 4 weeks. His jaw is wired......
