Let's get this done UCLA.

Nate Costa gets the start at QB for the Ducks.

I like this game. It will show you how both teams will be through out the year. Is UCLA really good enough to over come offense? Is oregon good enough to win without its QB.

Note: UCLA win would of course help us.

Oregon's weakness is their defensive back injury problem. Oregon loses to both Utah and Purdue without Thurmond.

CHOKE!

Guess the went for it on fourth and didn't get it

Both offenses are really nailing their impressions of Dick Tomey teams

Pretty lackluster. Both teams showing some pretty good D.

Without Masoli we're miles better than the Ducks. Anyone know how long he's out for?

I feel dirty rooting for UCLA to win anything, I'm also not much a fan of Oregon. Torn to bits over this one. I'm actually liking the way it's going. Let's get some real physical football in the second half, maybe a couple of key injuries that might affect them down the line and a close late win for UCLA. I'm hoping for something like 9-7.

He was questionable all week, I wouldn't imagine he'd miss much more than this game.

wow...that's a break down in special teams

It only took thirteen seconds for the 2nd half to top the first 30 minutes in excitement. And the way these offenses have looked so far the score now may very well be the final.

Edit: Whoops!

That went ugly real fast. What sucks was there was a pretty blatant hold on the kickoff

Ah well, it's the breaks I guess

What's the opposite of prophetic? Because my previous post in this thread about the final score being 7-3 is clearly that.

UCLA is awful. Oregon might be the best team in the conference.

PAC-10 refs at their finest

They also missed that hold on the Oregon TD. #78 was pulling down the UCLA guy buy his shoulder pads right in front of the ref

Well...they still have to play W-away; usc-home, @ Furd; asu-away; then UA.

Perhaps they'll be feeling a bit different when they visit us on our home field...lookin forward to that game as well.

Yeah I was just thinking about the first half (this UCLA implosion aside) and how Oregon does look beatable when they are on the road.

Obviously this is getting ahead of ourselves as we have a very important game tonight, but we will get Oregon at home while USC has to travel to the Ducks.

Yeh, I know but this year seems different...just looking at the future events adds more to the year. I have never done that before; well, except for the sd games.

Edit: Have never "looked forward" to meetings with strong teams...

If UCLA has a guy other than Prince or Craft to roll out there, now might be the time.

UCLA's offense needs to start doing something. All they do is throw those short crossing patterns.

Game was much more evenly matched then the score will show. UCLA's offense just couldnt get it done in some key spots

Funny, the announcers at the end of the game said it wasn't as close as the score would suggest. Apparently they missed the two gift TD's in the first 30 seconds of the second half. Everything that I saw said these teams were pretty evenly matched. UCLA just made more mistakes.

If you take out the "freak" plays in this game the score probably looks much more like Oregon 10, UCLA 3 for a final.

It was mentioned earlier in the thread, but Oregon certainly looks beatable on the road.
