washington has beaten usc and us.

there's no way we can be ranked ahead of them, or even tied.

So they should be ahead of USC too, right?

BTW, BM has my list.

Washington: L Stanford, W Arizona
Oregon State: W Stanford, L Arizona

IMO, we have the best team in the conference, and certainly the best offense, not named USC or Oregon (maybe Cal when they're actually on their game, which hasn't been very much recently).

I believe that will be reflected as the year goes on. UO @ Arizona is the pivotal game IMO and should flesh out 2nd-3rd place in the conference for UA.

Well, lets see your rankings then.

What does it matter how I'd rank the entire pac10?
I'm talking about two teams, Arizona, and UW.
Arizona's three wins are CMU, NAU, and OrSU
Washington's three wins are Idaho, USC, and UofA

Which three wins look better?

I'm not saying they're #2 in the conference and we're #9, just saying that UW should be higher ranked within the conference than we are.

Because it's a hell of a lot easier to rank two teams that have a head-to-head than 10 teams who all play each other.

Would you rank Stanford greater than Washington?
Would you rank Oregon State greater than Stanford?
Would you rank Arizona greater than Oregon State?

At some point, the formula breaks. I'm wondering where it breaks for you if you'd put Arizona below Washington.

I've already said there's no way Arizona is tied or ahead of UW in the pac10 rankings.

Both teams have 3 wins, UW has better wins, and they beat us.

I can't put us ahead of a team that that has the same amount of wins, only theirs are better quality and they beat us.

But we got steamrolled by stanford that got blown up by OSU, which in turn was blown up by you guys.

I'm fine with the 3d ranking. Maybe flip out 3d with 3c and I would be okay with that.

I'd rank it like this:

1)USC
2)Oregon
3-6 Its a giant mess (Like BM states)
7)CAL
8)UCLA
9)ASU
10)WSU

Although I am not ready to write off CAL yet, but jesus christ they look horrendous.

Well after seeing the AP poll, apparently I'm way off in my line of thought.

Lol I dunno any more. 3-6 is definitely clustered close together, I'd just give uw the nod over us cause of head to head if nothing else?
