1) Oregon (should improve to 4-0 next week)
2) USC (if they'd held the big lead against ND, they'd be ahead of UO)
3) Arizona (2-1 against the middle; best QB in the conference)
4) Oregon State
5) Stanford (decent so far but could very well finish with 4 straight losses after beating ASU next week)
6) California (still no idea where this team falls and won't know until November)
7) Arizona State (only one semi-quality win, two decent losses...who knows?)
8) Washington (two bad losses, very fluky wins against good teams, dropped them because a bad loss came this week)
9) UCLA (blown out at home by a team that was outscored in the Pac-10 72-6 so far)
10) Washington State

What's yours?

I would switch 7 and 8. ASSU doesn't get much credit from me. They will lose vs Stanford, USC, Cal and Oregon.

In terms of how good the teams are, I'd go with:

1. USC
2. Oregon
3. Cal
4. Arizona
5. Stanford
5. Oregon State
7. ASU
8. Washington
9. UCLA
10. WSU

With the caveat that there ain't that much difference in numbers 4 through 8.

Love the optimism, but how can you put us above Oregon at this point? They have killed everyone except Boise St. (and I think if they played them today they would pound them).

I'm not buying what Oregon is selling. They haven't killed everyone they played and that's ignoring the fact that they haven't played anyone.

These next three weeks will be telling. They play on the road at Washington and Stanford, home against USC, I'm guessing they win one of those at most.

Arizona will likely have the same amount of losses that it has now in that same time frame.

Oregon St. at 2? Ummm...why? Why even above Arizona?

Oregon State is a team you want on the schedule early. They're playing as well or better than anyone else in the league right now.

FWIW, I think Arizona beats Oregon and loses to Berkeley, but it's hard to put another team ahead of the 1st place team in the league (Oregon) right now.

I have Oregon first for now based on blowing Cal out and not having a Pac 10 loss. However, Oregon probably loses to Purdue and Utah without Thurmond's punt/int returns for touchdowns in each of these games. Thurmond is done for the year as is his replacement Glassper.
