Think of it this way. With Archie and Book we probably never land a player outside of the Rivals 150 as long as both are on staff. Is keeping Reggie around for nostalgia really worth it? We're going to be so good in a few years nobody will even remember when Reggie coached here.

No kidding. I swear it looks as if Miller is building his dream team/staff. And the guys seem eager to come too. The Sean Miller era is off to a great start.

And to think the UofA almost hired Floyd. Wow. Can we somehow wipe that from UofA history?

Exactly, terrific recruiters don't go unemployed so if Reggie is such as his loyal defenders claim he'll be picked up in no time.

I think hiring Archie was a better move overall. Everyone loves Geary, but Sean is going to be more comfortable having Archie around. Archie knows the system and is a tremendous recruiter.

Good luck to Reggie! Sorry he had such a rough time here the past couple of years. I think he would fit in well on Pastner's staff.

You don't leave Ohio State, one of the top classes in 2010 that was mainly your doing, and the number one assistant position to take a director of basketball operations job.

You especially don't do that to be behind a guy who's lone recruit during the year was a guy who redshirted at a JC and averaged 9 points a game. Yes, Reggie definitely helped with Hill but I think we can all agree AZ and our style of play was more important to him than Geary being on staff. Besides, Reggie has as much experience in West Coast recruiting as Archie does, one year.

Unbelievable, if Archie can convince 3 5-stars to come to a school coming off 2 straight NIT's, he can probably do some damage recruiting to a school that's gone to the tournament 25 yrs in a row
