The Cats get more than a week off before the series with the quacks. That is gonna be good. Rest some arms, heal some dings and just a little R&R coming at the right time. Now until the end of the regular season is crunch time.

Pendley hits three homers in the doubleheader. In game two Fowler pitched a shutout and struck out 11. Wish the offense and pitching could face teams like New Mexico all year.

Don't like the eight days off as it will make the players rusty, especially the hitters.

Don't know if the hitter's timing will suffer. Depends on what coach has scheduled if he has them taking some extra batting practice during the down time it probably wont be much of a problem.

So is that 17 HRs for Shelby??

Got through reading a little piece on Taryne Mowatt she is going to be showing up on the big screen with Reese Witherspoon about a (insert drum roll here) a pro softball player.

Hosting Oregon....
Kenzie just gave up 4 runs in the first inning.(grand slam)

But in the bottom of the first, Cats fighting back! BDP with an RBI Double, and Lini with a 2 run jack!

Top of the third, an error, a 4 pitch walk, another 4 pitch walk, and Oregon's got the bases loaded with noone out.
Sheesh.
And then Kenzie gives up a grand slam.

Kenzie doesn't appear to have it tonight.

Finally got 3 outs. Cats down 8-3 heading into the bottom of the third.

Yeah, giving up 8 runs(7 earned) and getting yanked from the game....ouch.

Cats trying to stay in the game though, down 8-4, bases loaded bottom of the 6th.1 away.

Spigner gave up a few in the top of the 7th. We're down 11-5 going into the bottom of the inning.
Need a little(ok, a lot of) home field magic.
