From FootballScoop.com:

Texas A&M: We have confirmed that Kliff Kingsbury is joining Kevin Sumlin's staff at A&M.

West Virginia: We are well aware of the discussion of Jeff Casteel possibly joining Rich Rod at Arizona. We've been told he'll announce his plans after the Orange Bowl. We have been told that Dana Holgorsen and Oliver Luck have made it very clear to him (i.e. a significant offer) that they want him to stay.

Texas Tech: Sources close to the program tell us that while Tubs is still interviewing, these sources feel there is a very good chance that former UNC defensive coordinator Art Kaufman will become the new defensive coordinator. We'll keep you posted.

Illinois / NC State: Yesterday we were told by two sources that Jon Tenuta had accepted the defensive coordinator position on Tim Beckman's staff. Late last night and this morning we were informed (and have confirmed) that NC State made a very strong attempt (the word "lucrative" was used twice) to retain him yesterday. We'll keep you posted.

Florida State: We just saw a note from Florida State that Mark Stoops has been given a one year extension and a $150,000 raise (putting his salary around $600,000).

Ohio State: We hear Murray State defensive line coach / strength coach Kenny Parker is joining the Ohio State strength staff as an assistant.

Da Bears: Multiple sources telling us that offensive coordinator Mike Martz has resigned.

UNC: Fedora is going the Steve Spurrier route with titles...Vic Koenning will be associate head coach for defense while Dan Disch will have the defensive coordinator title. We had already brought you the rest of the news...but to recap...Fedora hasn't hired his running backs coach yet. In addition to Koenning and Disch on defense he has Deke Adams at DL and David Duggan (LBs / special teams). Blake Anderson is offensive coordinator, Gunter Brewer is receivers / passing game coordinator, Chris Kapilovic for OL / run game coordinator and Walt Bell at tight ends.

Kansas: Rob Ianello has now officially been named receivers coach and recruiting coordinator.

Texas A&M: Sources close to the program confirming to us that Kevin Sumlin is very interested in Michigan State defensive coordinator Pat Narduzzi as his defensive coordinator.

TCU: We have learned that Texas Tech defensive coordinator Chad Glasgow will return to the TCU defensive staff. We would expect current safeties coach Trey Haverty to move over to receivers.

Central Oklahoma: As we told you previously, Navarro JC head coach Nick Bobeck will be named head coach tomorrow.

Tennessee: Sources close to the situation tell us Dooley's first call was to Clemson defensive coordinator Kevin Steele. Clemson plays tomorrow. We suspect Dooley will have his new coordinator by the end of the week.

Kansas: Buddy Wyatt will be retained and will coach the defensive line.

Florida: Jeff Dillman has been named the head strength coach at Florida.

Illinois: Tim Beckman introduced Luke Butkus (OL), Chris Beatty (Co-OC and QBs) and Jon Tenuta (DC) today.

Texas A&M: Multiple sources telling us tonight that former Kansas co-offensive coordinator / receivers coach David Beaty (also formerly OC at Rice) will be part of Kevin Sumlin's staff.

Boise State: Chris Petersen has agreed to a new five year agreement that is reportedly right at or slightly above $2 million per.

Liberty (FCS): We hear Adam Morris (defensive quality control at Kansas) is joining Turner Gill's staff at Liberty.

Kansas City: Schefter is reporting that the Chiefs will interview Green Bay offensive coordinator Joe Philbin tonight.

Iowa State: Courtney Messingham has been named the new offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach. Messingham spent last season coaching the receivers for the Cyclones.

Houston: Sources tell us defensive coordinator Brian Stewart has resigned.

Houston: We have confirmed that linebackers coach Jamie Bryant will be named defensive coordinator. Lee Hays will be hired as offensive line coach. Hays was the offensive coordinator at Tarleton State this season and was with Houston in 2010 and Sam Houston State and Baylor prior to that.

Arizona State: We have learned that Wisconsin receivers coach DelVaughn Alexander is joining Todd Graham at Arizona State.

Texas A&M: Defensive line coach Terrell Williams will be retained at A&M.

NC State / Illinois: Both universities have alerted us...Jon Tenuta "changed his mind" and will remain at NC State. Feel free to draw your own conclusions.

Pitt: Sources confirming to us that Wisconsin linebackers coach Dave Huxtable will be Paul Chryst's defensive coordinator.

Texas A&M: We have learned that Houston offensive line coach B.J. Anderson will be assuming that same role at Texas A&M.

Fresno State: Jordan Peterson will be joining DeRuyter at Fresno State. Peterson served as a defensive GA last season at Texas A&M.

Texas A&M: Senior associate AD for football Tim Cassidy will not be retained. If a program is in need of that position, we're not sure there's a better one out there. 25+ seasons at A&M, Nebraska and Florida.

Texas A&M: Houston running backs coach / recruiting coordinator Clarence McKinney is moving with Kevin Sumlin to A&M.

Fresno State: Recapping DeRuyter's hires thus far...Dave Schramm (from Utah) as offensive coordinator / quarterbacks, Phil Earley as an offensive assistant / recruiting coordinator, Nick Toth (A&M) as defensive coordinator / linebackers, Pete Germano (Ohio) as defensive line / special teams, Tim McDonald (Fresno Edison) as secondary and Jordan Peterson (A&M grad assistant) as assistant defensive backs. Drew Hill has been retained as football operations coordinator.

So the Penn State alumni are outraged with the hire.

Gruden is a difficult guy to read---but---if he was interested in an NFL opportunity I think he'd be long gone. Might be tempted by a top-3 BCS program like the Ducks, although the threat of sanctions is pretty daunting.

SC fans would like to give Kiffen back to TN, but I don't think he'd be welcomed. Maybe it's small-head Todd's next dream job?

At any rate, there are some great opportunities for coaches out there. The ones that scares me is the (potential) Ducks opening---I don't see RR as a good fit in the bright lights/big city USC soap opera, but the Ducks....

Winning brings worries just like losing brings worries, might as well enjoy the ride
