So let me get this straight - Artest elbows Harden, an ASU player, thereby getting ejected/suspended, thereby giving more playing time to Jordan Hill, allowing him to get his first double-double as a Laker...

Harden shouldn't have been near Artest at that moment as Artest didn't even see him there. That being said, Artest still deserves 5 games for the result.

Artest didn't see him there and intentionally throw the elbow? Wow.

Agreed about Harden getting too close. But you can tell in the clip he felt Harden and threw the elbow anyways. Maybe not aiming for the head but definitely intending to hit someone.

But like SH said, I'm OK with that.

He very obviously knew Harden was there. I don't think I've ever seen a celebration that involved that particular arm action.

Typical bush league Laker-ness.

That's a really bad comparison, Mr. Bug. Pierce's elbow is the typical forward arm thrust. Artest thrusts his arm forward, and then raises it as he thrusts his elbow into Harden's head.

And it's 1000 times worse when you do this after changing your name to Metta World Peace.

Shouldn't have been near Artest?? Harden can run/stand wherever he wants.

Artest tried to sneak in a cheapshot under the guise of celebrating a dunk. Nobody believes Artest except for a few delusional Lakers fans.

Stern should come down hard on this headcase (again) and suspend him for the entire playoffs.

You do realize that harden ran into Artest first, kind of invalidating your statement
