I guess, but I don't see the Lakers just trying to dump Kobe's salary.

They should. Jerry Buss has gone Ron Sarver on Laker fans. Needs to find a cheap way to win because he's not going to spend money to build around Kobe.

Kobe's salary is nearly impossible to move. The Lakers would more easily amnesty the contract to clear space.

What a day of meltdowns. The fight, JT and now the Lakers. Kobe has a no trade clause btw so no way the Lakers could trade him even if they tried. Don't want to break up the big two seeing that it's the Lakers best advantage, ala the Heat game, but seeing that the offense right now wont throw it inside, defers to Kobe while he jacks up a bad shot or don't start running their offense until less that 10 on the shot clock, I guess it doesn't matter at this point.

Traded Luke for Sessions & Christian Eyenga & 2012 Lakers first rounder. Rumored to be going for Beasley as well. I guess they think they have 1 last run in the big 3.

How they got Cleveland to take Luke Walton is astonishing to me. This further proves Dan Gilbert is willing to pay any amount of money for a 1st (Baron, Walton)
