Mea Culpa. Went back and looked at the drawings that I had made a cursory inspection over a month ago. What thought was a break for entrance was not a break all the way to the field. However, I haven't seen a drawing of the project looking at it facing north from the field.

I hope the red and blue trim and accents are really part of the plan and not just the artist's rendering. It looks great and will add to the identity.

I've probably missed this posted somewhere. But what will the seating capacity be after this is all done??

No more than about 59000. This "expansion" is really a renovation and not meant too add many seats.

So when to we add to more seat capacity?

The original annoucement talked 70,000 and lately I have heard 65,000.

So what is it?

It's about 59K like said earlier. We barely sell out now, why do we need to add that many more seats exactly?

no need for more than the 59k planned right now. we'll talk again in 5 years if we have a rose bowl or two and 5 straight years of sell outs. even then with the scoreboard and north endzone the only real option for expansion would be to take off the west side press box and build a 2nd level a la the east side. which i highly doubt would happen...

Groundbreaking is on right now. People on the field, shovels in a row, on like the 20! Didn't realize they were going that far. RR has been sighted. No sound, but informative nonetheless.
