first off, i live in Newport Beach, not LA.

second, pls dont associate me with that reality show, west LA/Hollywood lifestyle that i find repulsive.

and for the record, Odom and/or Chloe are a very small sample size of what LA is really like.

and and, the Kardashian's live in the Valley, not LA.

Newport Beach is O.C., which, in some people's opinion, is even worse than L.A. I occasionally spend time with friends in Laguna and pretty much everybody down there thirsts for living the O.C. housewife/douche bag lifestyle, even if they don't have the money. Maybe you're an exception, I don't know. Although your repeatedly posted cougar photos say otherwise. This is not the time for splitting hairs and as you can see, your defense has clay feet and I could easily lump you in with the rest of 'em.

On the other hand I'd be the last person to judge you for hanging with Lamar and Khloe. I know that people in SoCal are as picky about their particular region of residence as any. But your assertions to the contrary notwithstanding, I'm sure you agree with me that your Newport Beach defense is rather self-accusatory.

Actually, releasing him right now would be a $2M hit to next years salary cap. Thus, they need to keep him to afford (within the cap) off season goals.

Also (and correct me if I am wrong)... don't think the Mavs can release him and him sign with the Lakers. Thought that was part of the new CBA due to some of the "trade-release-resign" stuff that teams used to navigate around the cap in past years.

Not that we are as pretentious and superficial as LA/West Hollywood... not sure I'd classify living in the W in Downtown Dallas as "boonies"

What I don't get, he was the guy who went to Laker management and ASKED to be traded to the Mavs after they hurt his feelings with the Chris Paul attempted trade.

Might be the biggest baby in sports... at least publically. Or the most pzzy whipped

Even if I sat on a couch in the desert, which I don't, my perspective would be just as clear. Although I'd prefer the term "personal experience" rather than "generalization". Again, I'm not accusing you of anything. I remember you saying you'd never wanna leave SoCal. After watching Lamar fail in foreign realms I can see exactly what you mean.

I don't think your (assumed) lifestyle is wrong, it's just different.

Here is exactly what happened, as reported by Skin (ESPN Dallas and Mavs broadcast team) who was told the entire story by an “unnamed Maverick employee”.
-In the first half, Odom plays bad, is benched, and pouts on the bench, no emotion or cheering for his team.
-Cuban goes into locker room and walks up to Odom, whos head is down, and kicks his shoe to get his attention.
-Cuban says “are you in or are you out” and Odom says “stop playing games mark”
-Cuban then says “i guess you’re out” to which odom fired back something about being a “grown ass man”
-Cuban says he wants him gone and didnt want to pay him another penny. Odom then said “im not worried, im good, i gotmoney like you mark”
-Cuban then said “I PAY MORE IN TAXES EACH YEAR THAN YOU’VE MADE IN YOUR ENTIRE CAREER” and walked out.
-After the game, Dirk, for whatever reason, gets into it with Odom. Vince carter and Brendan Haywood step in and basically threaten to kick Odom’s ass.
-Odom takes one last shot at us by wearing his Lakers championship shirt to dfw airport as he catches his flight back to LA to meet back up with his gorilla wife.
