Seems he acted with class post termination. Wasn't there a report on this board of him at a high school football game saying all the right things? He had dinner with RR once or twice. It's not like his comments are without merit, but they do come off as sour grapes. He's back Norman in the comfort of his brother's Sooner program and he takes a couple of shots. Fair enough I suppose.

I was done with him. I don't think of him as much of a Wildcat. Hard to believe it was 8 years.

He lived on Mark and Sonny...that was the key to his longevity...the guy has very little clue on being an HC. No one touched him after he was fired...Bro had to save him. Not very coach worthy. But hey...fire away baby boy!

Set aside his comments about players and coaching. No way to tell about that IMO.

But his comments about the university and the commitment they have given the football program is not off base.

How can anyone question that.

And if you were the coach of UofA football how long could you keep giving 100% when your superiors seemed to not give a rats a$$.

Well I had a problem when Stoops flew out Frank Selfo to take Dykes place as OC - and midflight Litrel begs Mike to make him OC and Selfo QB coach.

Sure he has a point about the facilities but he sucked from a PR standpoint. He was awkward in front of the camera, ridiculous on the sidelines.

I remember the Great Wall of China commercial where they show him sitting at a table not smiling, basically looking blank. That's how I think of the dude, no personality.

Hard for anyone to get excited about anything he was involved with.

RR will do a better job selling the program to donors, recruits and fans. I think the commitment is coming along nicely.
