Arizona Picking up Recruits left and Right

Arizona is up to 18 recruits right now and is picking up steam. We are bringing in the size along the O-Line which is great to see and are getting JC's guy to provide immediate depth and help. I like the way this class is turning out. Not that any one cares on this basketball only site

I think this is becoming the basketball site and "the other site" is becoming the football site.

This site has a tremendous opportunity to become the first site to cater to both Major sports.

I think a real opportunity is being missed here, but it's not too late to kick the Football coverage into high gear.

The amount of coverage the Basketball team gets on this site is disgusting, I love it, but it's almost overkill (unfortunately) at the expense of our Football coverage.

I've always thought our Football program has the ability to be great, similar to what Florida has become in both Major sports.

I still believe that, and continue to keep the faith. It takes a message board...

I know exactly what you mean and I've seen the "this board is deader than hell" comments on here. I can't disagree. BUT...we are definitely working on fixing that and have big plans for the future regarding football.

I LOVE football but in order to stay as the best hoops site, I have decided personally to concentrate a little more on basketball right now.

We are going to have football coverage by committee around here. If one guy emerges as "The Man", then so be it. Just like Kelvin Sampson said, "this is not a democracy, my best players take the most shots". It relates to what I'm trying to say about the future football writers. .... Kind of. I think.

What I am looking for is someone who is passionate about football. Not a little bit, but A LOT. If we are going to do this right, it has to be the best. Our basketball coverage is the best by far and that's because the people I have covering it are dedicated to what they are doing. It won't work any other way.

Please email me if anyone is interested in helping out with football. I completely agree that right now FB coverage is lacking. Good think it's basketball season at least. And, let's be honest, basketball pays the bills in this town.

For now anyway.
